"I first heard Chris Story and Southern Edge play in Luckenbach just over two years ago. Shortly after, the talent we normally booked for our corporate dove hunt cancelled due to personal matters, and I was left without live entertainment with three weeks before our event. I remembered the band I heard in Luckenbach, and looked up Chris. He was happy to work with me on such short notice, and proceeded to put on an amazing show. Each member of the band has an unique gift and really adds to the flavor of the music. The range of music- from outlaw country, to classic rock, and even a little zydeco really allows them to play to everyone’s taste. I can’t say how much I look forward to hearing them every year. They have become a staple at our dove hunt; playing for us the past two years. We look forward to many more events, and the only problem we seem to have is waiting a whole year before bringing them back for another great show! I highly recommend Chris Story and Southern Edge to anyone seriously looking for an amazing performance and a relaxing good ole time (except for opening weekend in September) they are all ours then!!"
