Chris Story’s music career began at age four. As a member of the United Fiddlers Association he participated in fiddle contests all over the country. Playing at festivals, fairs, and rodeos, Chris developed a passion for entertaining that would drive him to succeed. He continued his music through high school, where he received many awards and a music scholarship to Abilene Christian University. Chris performed with several experienced local bands and in 1996 Chris Story and Southern Edge was born. With a group of hand-picked, family oriented professionals, Chris developed a passion for the corporate entertainment business. Chris has performed for many big name clients and some of the top organizations in the United States and Canada. Chris and his band have become the first choice for many event planners and have made memories at hundreds of weddings. Chris is also the Music Minister at the Central Christian Church where every Sunday he hopes to touch the hearts of those who hear him.
