Known by his fellow musicians as a “perfectionist” Carl truly puts the art into music. Following in his father’s footsteps, the passion and fervor with which Carl Negley plays bass is unparalleled, bar none. Carl was hired by his first band in 1972, and has played in 37 bands, including the likes of Johnny Bush, Daryll McCall, Augie Meyers, Frenchie Burke, and Emilio. However, in spite of his impressive past, Carl maintains a humble and modest outlook, and lends a strong work ethic to Southern Edge.
